Highlights included: Brock Kell enjoyed his best game of the season at quarterback against rival Central completing 9 of 18 passes for 151 yards. The Husky rushing attack also kicked in for 181 yards against the Bears in the 28-14 win. Terry Kneer had two TD's that night while gaining 83 yards on 11 carries for a 7.5 yd per carry average. Dean Beck managed 84 yards on the ground as well against Central and provided a touchdown on defense when he returned an interception 20 yards for a score.
Andrew Powers emerged as the favored target of the Huskies late in the season and managed 3 TD receptions over the final five games. The longest scoring play of the season was provided by Bryan Beck when he rambled 48 yards with a punt return versus Harrison.
