The following players were recognized at the November 18th Annual Football Banquet as having won 2010 Season Awards for Excellence:

KIWANIS AWARD:  SAM JONES

MORRIS RILEY LEADERSHIP AWARD:  DAMON BYARS

MOST VALUABLE PLAYER AWARD:  TY PAULEY

OFFENSIVE M.V.P.:  MAX MOONEY

DEFENSIVE M.V.P.:  DAMON BYARS

HARD HITTER AWARD:  BRANDON DICKENS

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER:  JEFF BURCH

BEST TEAM PLAYER:  SAM JONES

OUTSTANDING OFFENSIVE LINEMAN:  DAMON BYARS

OUTSTANDING RECEIVER:  TY PAULEY

OUTSTANDING OFFENSIVE BACK:  BLAKE HOWELL

OUTSTANDING DEFENSIVE LINEMAN:  MIKE JOHNSON

OUTSTANDING LINEBACKER:  DREW WATTERS

OUTSTANDING DEFENSIVE BACK:  JAY'VON GILMORE

OUTSTANDING SPECIAL TEAMS:  ZAC TURI

SIX HUSKIES RECEIVE POST SEASON FOOTBALL HONORS

The Southern Indiana Athletic Conference (SIAC) announced its All-Conference teams and six different Huskies were recognized for their 2011 football performances.  Seniors Damon Byars and Ty Pauley were selected to the 1st Team All-Conference Team along with junior Drew Watters 

Each SIAC coach votes for All-Conference players.  Byars was selected as at Defensive Tackle, Pauley was chosen at Defensive Back, and Watters was named as a Linebacker.

Three additional Huskies were named to the 2nd Team All-Conference Team:  senior Jeff Burch (Offensive Line), junior Blake Howell (Running Back), and junior Mike Johnson (Defensive End).

THREE HUSKIES SELECTED TO ALL-CITY TEAM BY DOWNTOWN QB CLUB

The Evansville Downtown Quarterback Club announced that three Huskies were selected to their annual All-City Team.  Senior Ty Pauley was named at Wide Receiver, senior Damon Byars was selected at Offensive Line, and junior Mike Johnson was chosen at Defensive End.

The Downtown QB Club All-City Team is voted upon by the Evansville high school football players.  A player cannot vote for a member of his own team.
